Working With Schools

Since 2023, we have been working directly with schools to offer external tuition through the NTP programme and pupil premium funding.

We currently work with many students from schools in the local area with a broad range of needs. From GCSE revision sessions to whole curriculum private tutoring, we work directly with both the school and parents to target key areas of improvement for our students.

Since Covid-19, the percentage of students who are now persistently absent from school has risen to 24.2%. There are of course multiple reasons for these absences, but one of the main reasons we have discovered working with children is the rise social anxiety since the pandemic. For many months, a vast amount of children were not allowed to leave their home, attend school and socialise with friends. The after-effect of these precautions have been truly eye-opening, with many children still stuck in this scared / anxious state of being. Not only this, but many children (specifically teens) now think that attending school is unnecessary as they can do the work from their own home.
We work with these children to not only provide them with an education from the comfort of their own home, but also build their confidence so that in time they can return to school with their peers.
